What's Your Opinion On Teen Pregnancy?

well i can't say it's a good thing...but i think if the teens are ready and prepared it's fine but i personally think u shouldn't have kids till ur ready or at least 24...that way u have ur life together u have a job that can support a child and you can handle it....i mean it happens sometimes and we have to live with it it's not something we can control....

My friend (Mandy) is really nervous about all of this. She hardly even eats or talks anymore. I'm a little scared for her. She's starting to get a little back on track because the doctor told her (duh) that she was effecting the baby. So yes, she's very nervous and hopefully she'll get thorugh it okay.

I think I actually believe that a big percentage of African Americans and Hispanics have a lot of children. I know most Afrcan Americans that live in the U.S were born in the U.S., but I think because of where they were from, it's still in their blood to have children at a young age. I'm sure there are at least 100 different reasons but I think I'm complimenting them a little. ^.^

no it's not healthy you should speak to her
and you should never encourage someone to get an abortion it's just as unhealthy as having the baby
anyone who has sex unmarried and under the age of 18 should know the concequeses and if they dont they should not do it
but i hope your friend has a safe and healthy birth and child

i've read alot of reports an it turns out african americans and hispanic americans have a bigger chance of becoming pregnant when they are under 18 because there are more under age pregacies of that group than others

i guess i agree with alot of what all you said. its pretty much the whole idea of it.

I agree. I don't see anything wrong with sex...really I don't. It's not a "bad" thing but protection is always good. I also agree that abortion isn't all that bad. I think of it this way, would you rather see a child never live at all, or get abused by a coke-head mother? A lot of us (meaning this generation)'s parents were young when they had us so we think of things differently than the people will in 10 years. I don't think teen pregancy is a good thing though. Sure, it is their choice but I've had so many friends and family members ruin their lives that way. Like the story a few posts ago, she ruined her life. This topic is so controversial.
My really good friend, is pregnant. She's 15 years old and is going to be a sophmore. SHe's 6 months into it now and it's really hurting her insides. The doctor said that is she and the baby live through this, she's going to have a lot of problems.(meaning both of them)

I agree people should be able to pleasure them selves but they should be safe as well
