Okasu nodded his head calmly at Haru as he jumped into the bushes to make his leave. He remained seated, and looked over towards Amazon, his eyes glaring into the pupils of the younger one. He rose to his feet, relaxed and paced towards Amazon, who stood up as Okasu had, waiting for him.
He stopped by his side and sat back down again, looking ahead, he spoke calmly.
"Amazon, you are not a part of a pack, the two of us are not a clan."
He could sense the confusion that Amazon felt as he looked up at him.
"He'll be back, he won't give up easily. I am unsure of what he wants."

He got up and began to make a move in the opossite direction, Amazon stood straight up and caught up, walking beside him.
"He may want a rabbit from my territory, but that doesn't matter. A rabbit is a rabbit. They're not sacred. But if I catch him attempting to make a kill, then I shall make a stand. There is nothing I can do to prevent a wolves way of nature.
You must make a kill to live. But he shall not kill you, Amazon."

Amazon looked up at him as he continued to walk along side the older wolf. "But what can I do if he does try to kill me?" He asked raising his voice curiously.
Okasu lowered his head down to Amazon's level. "As I said, we are not a pack. I cannot always be there for you, to protect you from danger.
Though you're still young, you have no family." He paused for a few moments, but spoke again, "I shall train you to fight, and defend yourself."

With that, Okasu leapt onto a fallen log and ran accross it over a river, Amazon watched and soon followed on, struggling up onto the log but soon made it, and ran to follow.

Amazon was relieved but also anxious as he didn't know when Haru would return. He hope the wolf wouldn't but of course once a hunter has locked on to his target there was no stopping them.

Shaking his fur he followed Okasu wondering where they were going and what they were going to do. He had learnt that Okasu had a very planned schedule in his mind, depending on different circumstances. padding silently he looked around.

The rabbits were calm so, no danger just yet. He could relax for a little.
Endless Rain is a brilliant yaoi, it has a good way of showing what happened with no graphics on the personal parts of the characters. Loved it....

The reason why I say this... It is one of the best yaoi's I have read so far.... For now that is...

Haru began planing carfuly. He had already picked his target. Slipping into the bushes he lay just above a ditch looking across he saw Amazon and Okasu. Down the ditch was the rabbits. Picking out his target he bent his head slightly. "Just a little closer."

Amazon stayed seated watching the two larger wolves staring each other down. He knew Okasu would not give up because it meant not only surrendering Amazon but his whole territory that he had owned for who knows how long.

He knew Okasu was in his prime but so was Haru...Watching carefully each wolf measured up each other.

Amazon become very confused when Haru sat down. "Alright you win, Okasu." Haru said keeping his eyes on the older wolf. He turned to Amazon. "You have a good leader there kid. Don't think I won't be back. I came here for my prize and I won't leave without it."

Amazon looked more confused turning to Okasu as Haru disappeared. "What is his prize, the rabbits he came here for... or me." He asked Before following Okasu back into the dense trees.

Okasu sneaked from behind a nearby bush, listening to what Haru was saying to the young wolf, he had enough, and casually paced himself from the bush and revealed himself.

"You seem desperate, Haru"... Instead of guarding in front of Amazon, he moved himself to his side as if to allow Amazon feel equal. "You desire to take over my territory, and take this pup away." He walked bit forward and sat down, wrapping his tail around. "You say you are no danger to him, you are no threat and you have no intention to hurt him?" He tilted his head in sarcastic confusion "Heh, you should have been more tactful with your words, Haru. You didn't show that message when you tried to kill this young one... for a rabbit". Baring his teeth very slightly followed by a light growl, he narrowed his eyes and glared into Haru's, challenging him. "You're weak... Haru..."

Hazel ignored the rabbits, and followed his duties and kept watch as he allowed the other rabbits to sleep as he kept watch.

Haru sighed. This little wolf was smarter then he thought. "Why do you fight me when we could be such good pack friends?" He asked his patience wearing thin. "Come with me as I am no threat to your life." HAru dared to close in on the wolf. His idea of killing the cub soon disappeared. This wolf was fun to watch and had a smart mouth. "Join me..."

Momiji hopped into a tree slipping into its small crevis and dozing off.

Amazon didn't flinch at the older wolf's words, he had already known what the wolf had said. Cocking his head to one side he watched the wolf with an amused eye. "Okay Haku. You obviously don't realise that I already know that....you way to late to give me a lecture.." Wrapping his tail around his legs he continued to watch the wolf in interest. "I am not moving until your miles away." He added.

Haku did not move. "Until Okasu shows he has had enough of me, which he hasn't, I am staying. I like the wolf. I don't like you."

Taka lay down in the tall grass and rested his weary eyes. He ignored the two rabbits who had gone quiet but he was very aware of the glares they shared. Sighing, it had gone from a problem to an annoyance.

Haru became confused. His plan was not working and if it was to work he needed to get rid of the pup. He had to think fast. That Okasu would turn up eventually. "Listen Kid, I am not here to hurt you. Come with me and I will look after you." He knew it wouldn't work but he had to try. "I will be back when you make up your mind. Let me ask you a question. How long do you think that Okasu would let you stay. Or what he intends to do to you? Your a wanderer, young I must admit but you are new to this territory. The wolf that owns this territory has lived alone for years, what makes you think he will accept you?"

Momiji glared and stared harshly as he dug out the nutricious seeds and roots. He loved them, very tasty. Eager to eat more he turned his back on Hazel and dug some more. Soon he ended near Taka and the guard or guards.

(were't there meant to be two guard rabbits?)

Amazon heard the howl but didn't turn his head, he knew this new wolf might get desperate and attack him. His blue eyes focused on the black wolf he waited for Okasu to show. Sure enough the black wolf moved into the middle between the oncoming Okasu and Amazon. "What do you want Haru..." Watching interestedly at the wolf's antics he soon heard near by rustling. "You have already lost once. Want to loose again?" Amazon asked. One thing he knew about Okasu was that he was possessive over his territory. Amazon after all was a stranger himself, he wondered why Okasu had let him stay in the first place.

Taka dug into the ground for the nutricious roots and seeds. Eat away he ignored the stares and glares Momiji and Hazel would throw at each other and ate with the guard, with his back to the two. "They could probably handle themselves anyway with that attitude. We should be sticking together." He muttered to the guard.

Okasu continues with a slow pace, looking back down ahead of himself and sighed "We better find food"... he had no reply, not even a rustle of leaves. He looked back behind him, he worried but kept his coolm peering back through the trees. He knew that it was not safe to be alone, especially with a strange, dangerous wolf nearby. He dashed back through to search for Amazon. Approaching large boulders he climbed and jumped to the top and looked over his terriory, mostly hidden through trees. He scanned the available view and raised his head, ears turned back and howled throughout his territory, claiming his place, giving his warning.

Hazel hopped carefully through a large patch of long grass and stopped to look back at the others. "We may be safe in here, but not completely." He made the other rabbits aware of snakes, foxes and badgers. Or even the movement of the grass could catch the eye of a wolf. "We may rest" He sighed as he began to nibble at the stems, and dug through to find the most nutritious patches.
