well back when the people over where america now is went to attack there way to freedom from the british and was doing good an had the british on the run and trapped down in a pennisale and the french put there ships on the other side so the british coudlnt get ships out of there and then we closed it on them and won freedom and stuff. and for the mesauments there was a great big get togther of many people from around the world and they came up with a mesument systems so they had it all the same with ever one. so its more then america that use the system but there are still other ones out there too. 2 most used is standered here. like 1/2 and sutff like that then meteric system which is mostly used ever where esle but they tried to chagne the americans to use it but mostly use the standered here still. but there is use of the meteric system. but ya bush might not be the best but he was voted in for 8 years so deal with it. and next year we get a new preisdient but i hate all the people we get to have.@_@ well as soon as bush has to pull out of where the amry is it will all go to shit and it will be a cicval war. and then they will take attack apond america after that. should really get in there and finished it all at the begining but coundlt.@_@ but ya thats about alll from my rant for now.^-^

Im not even going to get started on this... i consider myself retardedly knowledgeable about wars/revolutions/american stupidity, and i know this is neither the place or the time. Yet i cant help myself.
The consensus of America has the same standards as a stagnant pool of water. They have retarded plugs... and a retarded measurement system... I use the word retarded not only as slang but also in the full meaning of the word.
The French. omg the French. They make good cheese, and decent nuclear power reactors... but thats about it. They have NO military prowess and are a stuck up country. Im afraid this is one of the few times i am in complete agreement with Sesshiru... and i know how much he hates trying to understand complex drawing that are measured in inches and feet.
And gallons... and miles.. and... seriously... you can only expect such things from people who measure horses by using the actual distance of their very own hands, or SOMEHOW manage to develop a surfers "foot" as a measurement.

hey hey hey, calm down Sesshiru ^^; America is a fine country, even if they do things differently to all the rest of the world, it evens out cause they're such a huge influence on the rest of the world :) I wouldn't have half the books I own if I didn't get them imported from the states, it's pretty good.
I hope you enjoy your trip to London! I would love to go overseas again, culture trips are fun, and people seem so amused with me, it's great ^_^

ok, firstly americans are the ones who twisted the language not the british, second there is no such thing as londonese, call them that again and I'll....(thinks evil thoughts), and third americans use more amps and less volts than EVERYWHERE ELSES in the world which is why so many americans zap themselves to death compared to EVERYWHERE ELSE. Oh and you also have your own warped Imperial system of measurement. Anyone who goes to american has to basically throw out any other normal system of measurements to be able to do anything there.
