I only know random phrases from anime I've watched, and from listening to the exchange students talk +_+ I was going to learn it for my HSC, but it wasn't offered at our school this year. I want to go to Japan for a year when I finish school, so I can learn :)

Konnichiwa, So sorry I have not been on in so long.^^ Reivianna came over to my house and forced me onto my computer. I just returned from camp so I am very excited to be back. I do not think I've met Dolphin Spirit yet so Yoroshiku onegaishimasu! ^^ I am pleased to meet you. I lived in Japan for years before moving next door to Reivianna. :P So any questions and I will try my best to answer.

I'm trying to learn. I have a book, JAPANESE IN MANGALAND, which teaches Japanese through the use of manga. I've gotten through the first eight chapters, but so far I haven't learned enough to construct sentences or anything like that.

Hey everyone! I'm really curious to know about everyones thoughts about learning Japanese. Anyone learning? Can anyone speak fluently or just random phrases from anime/manga series?
