Ocean screamed, the sound echoing around them, as he rushed for the boy, his razor-sharp arm raised above his head. As the scream echoed, the snow on the ground started to stir, and the echoes cleared a path for him to run through. Ocean's aura pushed the obstacles out of his way as he raised the Ocean Edge, the eye widening, seemingly smiling...

Anger coursed through his mind, pure, unfiltered anger, as he thought of another one running away. He needed his happiness! The selfish souls were killing him slowlu... He needed joy. The Ocean Edge only emitted anger, trying to furthen his hate, broadcasting negative emotions to him in order to save itself.

The Ocean Edge wanted to be free too.

To now, the snow flying past his silver hair, the Soul Eater pointed his blade towards James, its ice becoming more solid, sharper...

Rei didn't want to leave James she had held her position firm on the window sill before he turned back, The look in his eyes told her that if she didnt jump he'd push her. Rei was torn, she was susposed to protect James not let him get killed over her, He was just a human she couldn't leave him. The firy look back in her eyes and her senses cleared slightly. Why? Rei quickly glanced across the room at Ocean, he was farther away, his souls aura wasn't effecting her as much, she could think clearly here. Then it hit her, The eyein his sword made eye contact with her, and she felt it, the clouded senses and pain hit her like a hard punch to the gut and she fell off the window sill.

Rei composed herself somewhat during the steep fall to the grounds below asnd managed a somewhat graceful landing, well..she landed on her knees. Rei gasped for breath her head swimming from it s sudden release from Oceans aura. She gazed up at the window, She'd left James. After all that rei had left her wounded human friend alone with that ...monster.

Ocean felt a beastly anger rise inside of him, and a warmth spread through his body. He raised the now crystalline arm and hissed like an animal, resetting his stance. His green eyes flickered wildly, now a dancing emerald fire as his silver hair flew out behind him.

"Don't you see?! The girl!" He pointed to the fire demon, still growling. "She's a Fire Elemental! The Element is a peice of the soul represented in physical form! She's my only target left after I left my last World..." He seemed to gaze slightly behind them, memory overwhelming him as he had tried to kill somebody he had actually liked.

His Brother had disappeared then, the only one who would try to kill him, and he had survived to traverse the worlds alone. But then other people kept getting in his way. Why would they do that? It was immoral to starve a person, and they seemed to care about the people next to them. Idiots...

"I need a fiery soul, or I will stay emotionless forever..." He had spent two-hundred years blind, then he'd gained his sight back in a marvelous revolution... But the specific soul wasn't powerful enough to melt his blade. The Ocean Edge had to die, then he and the Eye would rejoice!

His eyes sharpened. "What are you going to do? Run away from the Hunter? If one has to feed, he will without thought of the prey. That's what I've become! So choose your move. I'm in pain."
