I agree with you, Rei--alchemy aprentice--. ^_^

Yes, I hope that the world is equal, some day. ^_^

Unfortunately, I know that will never happen. :'-(

Many fundamentalist, extremist religious groups, who are supposed to be fighting against religious discrimination, are making appalling comments about other people's beliefs.

Here is a stunning example of intolerance and hypocrisy:

After New Orleans was hit by the devastating Hurricane Katrina, the American Family Association's Agape Press published praise for the hurricane's destruction as an instrument of God's mercy, in that it "wiped out rampant sin". Rev. Bill Shanks, pastor of New Covenant Fellowship of New Orleans, said "God simply, I believe, in His mercy purged all of that stuff out of there -- and now we're going to start over again." "New Orleans now is abortion free. New Orleans now is Mardi Gras free. New Orleans now is free of Southern Decadence and the sodomites, the witchcraft workers, false religion -- it's free of all of those things now," Shanks said.

WOW.

damn straight! Equality for all!

"Why, look you now, how unworthy a thing you make of me. You would play upon me; you would seem to know my stops; you would pluck out the heart of my mystery; you would sound me from my lowest note to the top of my compass; and there is much music, excellent voice, in this little organ, yet cannot you make it speak. 'Sblood, do you think I am easier to be played on than a pipe? Call me what instrument you will, though you can fret me, you cannot play upon me!"

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST BEFORE REPLYING!!!!!!

There are a lot of people who complain about "hatred" towards their race, minority, gender, religion, sexual orientation, ect.

Unfortunately, many of these people are hateful towards others.

Let me explain:

Many African American civil rights groups are protesting against hatred of blacks. Unfortunately, these people are sometimes hateful towards other races, such as whites.

According to society, hatred of black people is not okay, but hatred of white people is perfectly fine.

Does this make ANY sense to you???

Another example:

Many feminist groups are protesting against hatred of women. Unfortunately, these people are often hateful towards males.

According to society, hatred of women is not okay, but hatred of men is perfectly fine.

Does this make ANY sense to you???

This is called hypocrisy.

In my mind, ALL hatred is wrong.

You cannot protest hatred AND promote hatred at the same time.

I could go on and on about this, but I will not.
