Soldiers flooded the clearing, surrounding Zaku and Kira. Kira drew one of her katana and stood with her back facing Zaku.

"If you make this deal you are making it with the devil, I hope you know that." Zaku said, his voice seeming just as cold as hers. Soldiers swarmed them, but were easily knocked down by the two.

"You know Zaku," Kira said between attacks, her back still to his. "The thing about making deals with the devil," She made a quick jab with the hilt of her katana. "is that there's always someone who gets double crossed." Kira quickly turned on Zaku and effortlessly brought him to his knees, knocking him out. Zaku slammed face first into the ground, dropping his weapons. Soldiers rushed toward them and arrested Zaku. Kira was suddenly grabbed by two large soldiers and brought to Creed.

"What of this one sir?" One soldier asked.
"Arrest her as well." He ordered, but Kira cut in with a bit of poise.

"I'm sure the reward for the capture of Zaku was more than enough to pay my way out of prison." She said assuredly. Creed sighed uneasily.

"Release her." He ordered, and the soldiers did so. Kira took a step away from them, looking at Creed with a smirk, then retrieved her weapons from one of the soldiers.

"It's a shame that you needed help from a "lowly criminal", such as I, to capture him, Creed." Kira stated with a hint of ridicule bleeding from her words as she hung her katana on her waist. Creed tried to ignore her statement.

"Take him away." He ordered then looked down at Kira condescendingly as he said, "We're done here." and tossed a small bag that was filled with the remaining money from Zaku's ransom, at Kira.
