Polaris followed Damien's blade with his eyes as it was brought down with tremendous force upon the hacker, promptly slicing him in two and crashing into the ground beneath him. He watched as the image of the hacker slowly blurred and began to dissolve in a shimmering array of green swhispy lights, the expression on his face frozen in the midst of a grimace fading away into nothingness.

"Yeah, the administrators will investigate the cause of death," Polaris spoke to the group, "Death in the Cyber World is as serious as real death, because when you die, your identity is gone, and you have to go through a long procedure just to re-enter the Cyber World and with nothing, so it's like re-birth as a completely new person. I suspect we will hear from administrators soon, specifically you Damien, but hey, I think the word of 5 or 6 people is more than enough, eh? Hacker scum"

Polaris hit his wrist and he was back in his regular clothing again; he did not want to waste his Battle-Mode energy going idle like that. The rain now became a downpour that completely dulled his senses; he couldn't feel anything but the cold wetness seeping onto his clothing, running in rivlets down his pants. He kicked his feet to get some of the water out, and waved his arms downwards, more to play with the water than anything.

Suddenly Polaris noticed a red stain on the shoulder of his white shirt. "What the-...?" He inspected the stain with his hand; it was blood, but it was not his. "Anyone here hurt?" Polaris's eyes scanned the group, but spotted no-one who was severely injured. This blood had to come from somewhere, he thought, possibly the hacker? But no, no it couldn't have been, that slice of Damien's was a clean one. Polaris looked up, squinting in the rain, holding up his hand to sheild his eyes from the raindrops.

He managed to get a quick glance of something purple or pink waving around on the roof of the tall building, but nothing more, for a raindrop had fallen squarely in his eye, causing him to quickly lower his face and rub his eyes.
"Ahh man, come on let's go.. we can worry about being followed later, we still need to get to Nichole's... not much farther now, just a few more alleys and we're out of this street. Come on."

And Polaris led the way again, going out of this small enclosed square and into more dank alleys where the rain was a little less strong due to the closeness of the buildings to each other. He stepped carefully, navigating his footsteps through trash, cardboard boxes, discarded tin cans, and random thrown objects. Polaris took his blue ponytail in his hands and squeezed the water out of it, throwing it back again and keeping his eyes peeled.

The hacker was, quite basically, the very least of the problems they could have run into.
