Inuyasha Vol. 01So I just checked out vol. 1 yesterday and finished it in less than an hour. Although the novel was quick to finish, I would have to say, it is was great. So let me tell u a little about the story first. It starts out with a girl, Kagome, who just turned 15 and is to be the reincarnation of a priestess in another world. She doesn't know this until she was is grabbed into a magical well that transported her to this other world. There she meets Inuyasha, a half-demon who was suposably killed by the priestess; although I don't see how she killed him if he is still alive... Anyway, Inuyasha is after something that Kagome has, but it turns out later that she blew up the thing and now they both have to search for all the pieces or it can turn into a disater. What I have to say about this graphic novel is that it is a pretty good read. The characters are believable (as a demon can get that is, lol) the way they act and respond is pure genious. It has funny parts to it and has good action. I think everyone should read it. It does contain a little nudity >.> so its probably not appropriate for little kids. |
