She was living with her Grandfather until his house needed remodeling. He asked if she had a place to stay, and she lied saying yes. She then began living in a tent in the near by woods. Unfortunatly she was descovered by the Yuki Sohma, and learned that the woods she was living in were owned by the Sohmas. Yuki and his relation whom he was living with offered her a place to stay if she took care of the house. She agreed, and thus started living with the Sohmas. Little did she know that the Sohmas were cursed by the sperits of the Chinese Zodiac. What will become of Tohru, and wht happens when she gets a surprise phone call from her Grandfather. All this and more in Fruits Basket Vol. 1. Fruits Basket is one of my favroite Mangas because of its mix of everyday life and Magic. I recomend this to anyone looking for a book with love, action, and magic. With cute boys and fuzzy animals to boot. So, if your looking for the perfect manga just pick up Vol. 1 of Fruits Basket and you wont be able to stop reading it. |
