Dir en Grey !!!

so who or what is dir en grey? i talk about them constantly but do you ever wonder who they are? (i bet you do)

dir en grey is made up of 5 guys... kyo, toshiya, kaoru, shinya, die. (not in any specific order...)

kaoru is the leader of the band...and before they were dir en grey the were La:saidie (or something similar to that...i forgot...) anyway toshiya wasnt in the band...so it was all four of them plus this other guy (kisaki..of the phantasmagoria fame)...kisaki left.

anyway they are famous in the US...but they havent had any music play here...why is that? i dont know...maybe w/ anime came j-pop/j-rock and diru came...?

they have had concerts in the US like the family values tour...(w/ korn and fly leaf) plus they had the inward scream 07 tour (i went and the live show was awsome... but we got there kinda late...so i had to stand up and im pretty short but i saw every one exept die.... T_T i saw him but just breifly.) plus they have a tour w/ deftones... coming up ...i wanna go...but if i go i know i wont see much of them...cuz its about deftones

i have 2 of their cds right now...(the ones available in the US) "withering to death" and "marrow of a bone"
"withering to death is more alternative rock and marrow of the bone is more of their recent music w/ a heavyer metal sound...im planning on getting their vulgar cd...its older but i like their songs...

oh and before i forget i would also like to add that they were more visual kei in their erlyer days but not as much now...and their songs are awsome... the older ones are about equally as good as the newer ones
