We just finished our upgrade to the site, taking the software to giggle gab version 0.26.1. The biggest impact for users should be a reduction in the spam on the system. Anonymous posters are now required to enter a "Captcha", or visual code, before they can submit their post. Although this will not deter paid spammers, it will for the most part kill off the spam bots.
